Pokus o připojení L2TP se nezdařil, protože vrstva zabezpečení neověřila vzdálený počítač. Důvodem může být, že u jednoho nebo více polí certifikátu poskytnutých vzdáleným serverem nebylo možné potvrdit příslušnost k cílovému místu určení.
